Cooperate!
„If I were to put my finger on what makes the Fund so exceptional, I would say that our curiosity is kindled, and we are inspired to develop our full potential. This makes us eager to participate in all the activities again and again.”
Witold, Polish Children’s Fund scholarship holder from Łódź
Let’s Cooperate!
Collaboration is key to the success of the Polish Children’s Fund. Over the past 40 years, it has enabled us to create the largest and most comprehensive programme that aims to support gifted students in Poland. On a daily basis, we cooperate with hundreds of scientists and artists (Czesław Miłosz, Leszek Kołakowski, Krzysztof Penderecki, and Andrzej Wajda have all been involved). Our actions have made it possible for thousands of young people from all over Poland to establish fruitful cooperations with laboratories, research teams and renowned artists, as a result of which many of our former scholars have established brilliant careers and made successful stage performances. Among them, many are now becoming involved in the ongoing activities of the Fund – sharing their knowledge and experience with their younger counterparts.
Participation in the GIFTED Programme has changed the lives of these talented people – and they are now changing the world for the better.
The Polish Children’s Fund welcomes the cooperation of all companies and institutions that want to:
- have a real impact on the education of the most gifted Polish students
- co-create an environment in which talented young people can flourish, and whose dreams can make the world better for us all
- benefit from the skills and expertise of the numerous volunteers, university students, scientists, and artists who collaborate with the Fund
Why Us?
- Our activities shape the realm of non-formal education in Poland.
- Being one of the most experienced educational NGOs in Poland, we have been helping gifted young people to develop their talents for almost 40 years.
- We enjoy an excellent reputation and unparalleled recognition in the artistic and scientific communities. The Polish Children’s Fund has won, among others, the Populariser of Science 2012 competition, organised by the Polish Press Agency and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, as well as the Global Compact Network Poland’s Architect Development Award
- We are fully transparent in both our fundraising efforts and our expenditures. The Polish Children’s Fund is a registered charity: our annual reports (covering our actions and finances) are available in the database of Polish public benefit organisations and on our website
- The success of our programme depends on the involvement of ca. 300 volunteers each year, whose work is coordinated by 9 permanent employees of the Polish Children’s Fund Office.
How Can You Contribute to Our Mission?
- strategic partnership: long-term support of the Fund and its actions
- donations: one-time or recurring contribution(s) to our mission
- material and service support: we are always searching for new methods and tools with which to further improve our programme
- corporate volunteering: we would gladly benefit from the knowledge and experience of your employees
We also welcome any novel ideas for partnership and assistance.
